Welcome to Spokane!

I recently have upgraded my camera to a Canon Rebel XTi.  A DSLR camera is something I’ve wanted for quite a while, as it adds a touch of professionalism to my work.  While I do publish my pictures at www.flickr.com/photos/skyfire124 , I’ve also wanted to do something that would get me writing more often as well.  I listen to a number of podcasts, and while podcasts at this time dont really lend themselves well to “photography” per se, I’ve decided to branch out into the area of blogging. 

This is going to be a semi-regular blog (I’d love to do daily, but realistically, I’m going for weekly right now)…  This blog is just going to cover photos I take in and around the Spokane area mostly, maybe more when I’m on vacation, and my thoughts that come up during the shooting and writing process.  I can be somewhat stream-of-conscious, when I write, so keep up!
